Desperate, I throw myself on you.You are my sister, safe from the hands out to get me, you warned me with a smile. Because you loved me, you saved me. I cried my eyes out and felt hallow inside. As my life leaked away and my years faded out in sighs, you opened your doors to me. I was ridiculed by neighbors, my friends crossed the street to avoid me. The gossip had me “criminally insane.”
Ready and waiting you became a blessing to me. You helped me remain safe from mocking faces. Your LOVE, is the love of “a Sister of True”, allowing my skies to be blue, and making me better. I now count myself lucky and happy. Never once did you separate me apart. I’m looking you straight in the eye to say, “thank you”, for giving me a break. I will always love you. “A Sister of True” with a heart that’s True, we’re family.
