The Art of Shaving
We here at Men’s Details are big fans of the shaving line called The Art of Shaving. Founded in 1996 by Myriam Zaoui and Eric Malka, the story of how The Art of Shaving came to be is full of the entrepreneurial spirit. Within six years, and after selling their car to fund their venture, Myriam and Eric had discovered a revolutionary shaving product in their pre-shave oil formulated with botanical oils, developed “The 4 Elements of a Perfect Shave” shaving system and had their first book published by Random House, The Art of Shaving.
The Art of Shaving can be found in one of their 17 flagship stores nationwide and in high end department stores such as Nordstroms. My personal favorite is the Sandalwood collection. It has a very soothing but manly smell that never disappoints. I still have yet to make an appointment with one of their Master Barbers for a Royal Shave. Their Barber Spa looks to be truly a unique experience.
For those of you who travel frequently, consider picking up a TSA approved carry-on kit, complete with badger hair shaving bush.
