Chivalry is Alive

In our times many people would like to claim that the art of chivalry is dead.  This is unfortunate for the modern gentleman, but it does not need to be the case.  There are many simple actions that a gentleman might do in order to act chivalrous: opening doors, being polite, providing assistance, or entertaining someone.  While the origins of chivalry involve a knight doing anything to honor, serve, and never displease a lady, any of these actions can and should be done toward any other person - that is if one is a true gentleman.  Open the door for anyone, not just women, but if you are attempting to bring out your gentlemanly side in front of a lady then good chivalrous actions never hurt.
